Lover's Embrace

Two locked in a loving embrace
Time that wishes never to end
This moment could last forever
Love is sparked anew

This setting, this place
This time, the perfect setting
Why did it take us so long
To realize our mutual love

Why isn't everything right?
Why can't this fit into place?
Nothing else seems to matter
Except your loving embrace

What is holding us back?
Is it the feelings of another?
Why cant this perfect love
Last this lifetime to come?

The time seems to pass quickly
Seconds turn into hours
Why isn't there more time?
I want this to last forever

Emotions without words conveyed
There is nothing I could say
That could express what I feel
For you at this very moment.

This lover's embrace
Bonds us together.
I lay my heart out
Bare at your feet.
